Dear Friends,
I am writing to thank you all for your generousity. Through finacial support, donations through Amazon, one of the community drives, or by making soup bags, or activity kits you help us to support the vulnerable in Ukraine, those who cannot leave their homes to evacuate and those who have left everything behind. And, your generosity will allow us to be there for the people of Ukraine as those communities struggle to rebuild after this crisis.
Like the Passover story, many Ukrainian Jews have had to uproot their lives, all they have known. They have had to travel great distances and leave behind their most precious possessions to reach safety. As we have watched in horror over the past few months, thousands of Ukrainian Jews are living a modern-day Passover Exodus story with courage and dignity.
On behalf of all of us at Action-PSJ, our community volunteers here and throughout the former Soviet Union, thank you. Your support allows our important, life-saving work to continue even in these most challenging times.
We wish you and your family a meaningful end of Passover, however you celebrate and a sweet Shabbat.
